Perhaps you have seen or even read a book from the series, “Chicken soup for…” This study is like that written to believers as, “Chicken Soup for Believers.” A key verse being, “These things are written that you may believe that Yeshua is the Messiah the Son of God. And that believing you may have life in His name.” Therefore this study from the Gospel of John is Chicken Soup for Believers.

The anointing sought upon our table is from Mark’s Chronology of the Church that begins with the promise of the Father, “And you shall receive POWER after the Holy Spirit is come upon me and you shall be witness unto me…” Yes, power for witness upon the stone of Bethel- (“House of God.”) As Jacob said it, “Surely the Lord is in this place and I knew it not.” While setting up His headstone he poured out anointing oil upon it calling it Beth-El, “House of God.”

This Anointing we seek is of, Spirit, Truth and Power. It is the belief behind the behaviour and the pursuit behind the practice. It is new life in Christ animated by the gift of the Holy Spirit.
